Working Together to Support Parents During School Holidays – Sharing Ideas and Best Practice

In the run up to the school holidays, this online session is a chance for Working Families Network Chair members to come together and share best practice around how employee networks can better support working parents, with a particular focus on childcare costs and the pressures that can come with them.

We’ll share experiences, ideas, and practical approaches that networks are already using or could develop to make things a little easier. This might include signposting helpful resources, sharing cost-saving tips, encouraging flexible working conversations, or thinking about how we can influence more supportive workplace policies.

The session is informal and collaborative, bringing together different perspectives to learn from one another. It’s about sparking ideas, building connections across networks, and exploring how we can collectively make a positive difference for colleagues balancing work and family life during school breaks.
