What does membership include?
For a full breakdown of what is included see our Membership packages.
Support of a dedicated Relationship Manager
Your Relationship Manager will provide advice and support on embedding flexible/agile working and supporting parents and carers, and will ensure you leverage all the benefits of membership. So whether you want us to review and make recommendations on your policies, provide tailored advice on how to achieve your HR / D&I targets and objectives, or share best practice examples from your own or other sectors, Working Families can help you.
Entry into the Working Families’ Member Benchmark
All members have access to the Working Families’ benchmark – a diagnostic tool analysing all aspects of flexible/agile working for all employees and specific support for parents and carers.
Completing the benchmark will demonstrate how to become a family/employee-friendly, high-performing organisation. It will highlight your strengths and achievements and pinpoint areas for further action – enabling you to identify your priorities for your ongoing people strategy. The in-depth bespoke analysis and feedback illustrates whether you are ahead of, or behind, the curve on each question and the recommendations will help you make the case internally for change.
Benchmark entrants are entered into our annual ranking of Top 30 Employers.
- The Working Families’ benchmark is an independent survey that comprehensively measures all aspects of our policies and practices around agile working.
Support and advice
Leverage the expert advice and experience of your Relationship Manager who will help you to embed flexible/agile ways of working and who will advise you on maximising the potential of mothers, fathers and carers.

- This year marks our ten-year anniversary of benchmarking with Working Families. For the last decade it has been a useful tool in ensuring that we support our workforce to allow them to have a positive work life balance. At times, the benchmarking challenges our thinking and provides opportunities to further development of our policies and processes. The networking events and support that comes along with the benchmarking are also excellent resources.
