How to build a successful Network Group

Parent and Carers Network Groups play a pivotal role in family-friendly organisations, bravely sharing their lived experiences to support their peers and, positively impact policy, processes, and culture to ensure a more inclusive working environment.

In our 2023 Benchmark, 93% of participating members have a Network Group set up specifically for parents and / or carers. However, we also know from speaking to our members, some face challenges engaging this already time-poor group of employees and not all Network Groups are able to operate and influence as they had intended.  

During this insightful Network Chair Event, we’ll bring together members that have a well-established Parents and / or Carers Network Group, as well as those who are looking to introduce or re-ignite one, to share their challenges and successes. We will hear from Finalists in our Best Practice Award ‘Best Family Network’, Dentsu and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, learning what has gone well and what challenges they overcame to nurture an impactful Family Network Group.
