Allen & Overy – Finalist 2019, Best Returner Programme
The programme, called ‘I’m Back’, allows both former lawyers and practice support staff from the firm to complete returnship placements with suitable teams.
An initial workshop updates potential returners on changes to the legal landscape, provides confidence building sessions and CV and interview skills.
Successful candidates complete a six-month placement that be done on a 4 or 5-day-a-week basis and returners can work flexibly once in post.
Coaching and mentoring support is offered throughout the placement.
