If you would like to make your employer aware of how Working Families can help them, we have an introduction letter template available that you can give to the relevant person in your organisation. I would like to share with you information about the organisation Working Families.

As the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers, Working Families believes that no one should be at a disadvantage because they have caring responsibilities. With over 40 years’ experience supporting organisations across a wide range of industries, they understand that each organisation comes with unique challenges when creating flexible, family-friendly workplaces. They work with over 130 forward-thinking employer members, giving them the tools, guides and policies they need to implement agile, flexible and family-friendly business practices for nearly a million employees. 

Membership options provide varying levels of support, but are available to suit all types of organisations big and small, and all kinds of working patterns and styles. Members benefit from the support of a dedicated Relationship Manager, use of the Working Families logo to signal their commitment to family-friendly working, an annual Benchmark evaluation of all aspects of flexible working and family-friendly policies and practices which could result in being named a Top 10 or Top 30 Employer, networking opportunities, members-only content and events, and exclusive access to a wide range of guides and toolkits.

Working Families members report increased gender diversity, a boost to staff retention, better engagement and performance of their people, and business savings as a result of becoming a member.
