Working Families Nightrider Team Do Us Proud

Published: 8 Jun 2015

While the rest of us were sleeping on the 6th June through to the early hours of the 7th, the Working Families Nightrider Team completed a gruelling 100km cycle ride through a street-lit central London. The team met at the Velodrome in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before embarking from 11pm. They all finished the ride slightly sore but in impressive times as the sun rose on the 7th.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Working Families Changemakers Nicola Ralston and Philip Walker:

and to the Computershare team Iain Williamson, Karen Williamson, Daren King, Mark Mercer, Steven Hagan and Steve Pennicott:

Helen Goodier, who attended on the night to provide the team with homemade brownies, said:

“Thank you to everyone for taking part in such a tough challenge event and for all the money raised for Working Families so far”

The team has raised over £4000 to date. Please visit their Justgiving page if you would like to donate. Next up is the British 10k on July 12th. If you would like to take part or undertake any other challenge or event to help support the work of Working Families please email the fundraising team.
