Cycle, run, walk in 2015

Published: 10 Feb 2015

You choose. Whatever you do, challenge yourself this year and do it for Working Families!

We can offer you a number of challenge events in the summer so you can get on your bike and cycle, or put your trainers on for a 10k run or walk…

We’re raising money for our free legal advice helpline which helps over 3000 working parents or carers every year.

Whichever you choose, we guarantee you’re more likely to feel fitter and get the feel-good factor because you’ll be raising money for such a worthwhile cause!

If you cycle…

Nightrider 2015 will take you through central London, from north to south in a circular route. Starting either at Crystal Palace in South East London or at the Velodrome, the Olympic Park out to the East. It’s 100k and is being held on Saturday/Sunday evening 8-/9 July. Come and join us for the cycle of the year. Contact helen.goodier@workingfamilies.org.uk for more information.

If you prefer to run…

Working Families is signed up for The British 10k this year and we’d love you to join our team.  This is a run through central London starting in Piccadilly and finishing in Whitehall, taking in the sights and sounds from Buckingham Palace to St Pauls and the Tate Modern. It takes place on Sunday 12th July. Contact helen.goodier@workingfamilies.org.uk for more information.

Or if you prefer a more leisurely pace…

Come and join the Working Families team (staff and trustees) for the London Legal Walk. Walk with us for 10k starting in Carey Street just off Chancery Lane and return there for a street party at the same location. The route goes from Chancery Lane, along Embankment through to Green Park and part of Hyde Park before looping back to The Mall and Trafalgar Square. The walk is on the evening of 18th May and promises to be lots of fun. Contact leon.clowes@workingfamilies.org.uk for more information.

We look forward to seeing you at these events – keeping fit and raising money for a great cause!
