Uniting generations: supporting and strengthening an age-diverse workforce
7th February 2024 | 11am to 12pm
Sponsored by
Today’s workplace is made up of a unique mix of generations. There can now be up to five generations working together simultaneously spanning Generation Z to Baby Boomers.
An employer today could feasibly have young graduates working side-by-side with great-grandparents.
As age-diversity in the workplace is becoming more common the range of priorities, expectations, and experiences that employees bring to the workplace is wider than ever. Some may be raising young children, while others are caring for elderly relatives. Some people will be pursuing different pathways to parenthood, whilst others are dealing with bereavement. People at advanced stages of their career might be looking to reduce their hours as they transition to retirement.
This fascinating webinar will explore how employers can best support employees at all stages of their career, from recruitment to retirement, through inclusive cultures that offer a range of family-friendly policies and a truly flexible approach to work.
We will be hearing from:
- Devi Virdi, Group Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at our webinar sponsor Centrica
- Mary Bright, Group Head of Social Sustainability and Age Special Adviser at Phoenix Group
- Nina Doran Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the National Crime Agency.
Join us to hear about best practice and to gain insights into how leading employers are reaping the benefits of a multi-generational workforce.
