Supporting maternal mental health at work: Insights and best practice

In the run up to Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, Working Families are hosting an insightful and informative webinar focusing on maternal mental health, exploring problematic factors for working mothers’ mental health, and helpful strategies employers can use to support them effectively.
This free online webinar has been designed for HR, DEI, and wellbeing leads, although we welcome anyone that is interested and committed to better supporting maternal mental health within the workplace.
You will leave the session with:
- An overview of the prevalence of maternal mental health challenges and the importance of understanding this in the workplace
- An understanding of the role of organisational culture, policy, and leadership in supporting maternal wellbeing
- Actionable insights and best practice examples from employers leading in this area
We are delighted to be joined by a brilliant panel of speakers:
- Maria Bavetta, Head of Engagement at Maternal Mental Health Alliance will be talking about the key challenges, stigma and overall trends impacting working mothers’ mental health
- Dr Krystal Wilkinson, Academic Partner of Working Families will be sharing informative research and insights
- Briony Grogan, Director of People and Culture at Pan Macmillan will be sharing the award-winning best practice support they have in place to support women and mothers in the workplace
Hosted by Hannah Francis, Relationship Manager at Working Families, and advocate for maternal mental health. This session is dedicated in memory to Hannah’s best friend who lost her life as a result of a maternal mental illness, and all the other women and families impacted by maternal mental health.
