Network Chairs Event – Supporting Returners
18th June 2025 | 12pm to 1pm

Practical Strategies for a Family-Friendly Workplace
Returning to work after family leave can feel like a pivotal moment—and how employers show up during this transition can make all the difference.
This session, designed for Network Chairs or people leads from organisations of all sizes, will focus on how employers can better support employees coming back from family-related leave—whether that’s parental leave, carers leave, or more specialist situations like fertility treatment or pregnancy loss.
During the session, you’ll hear from Catherine Oliver, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor and author of bestselling book ‘Working Parents-To-Be’. Catherine will share insights from her experience supporting parents transition into parenthood and life as a working parent. Two Working Families employer members will also share their practical perspectives that have already created a smoother, more supportive return-to-work experience for their employees.
This is an interactive session, designed for peer-to-peer learning and we will host breakout rooms to facilitate attendee discussion.
Please note this is a members only event.
