Learning from Lockdown: Flex in Flux
19th June 2020 | 10 am to 11 am

How can we make flexible working work for parents and carers, employers, and the economy after COVID-19?
COVID-19 has shown us the potential of widespread flexible working in the UK. The way in which the business world has adapted to the crisis—whether it’s been a shift to remote working or encouraging flexible hours—proves that flexibility is possible in many more roles than employers had ever considered before. For parents and carers who will continue to face challenges balancing their work and caring responsibilities after the pandemic is over, and for businesses that want to stay ahead of the curve after COVID-19, one thing is clear: there’s no going back to business as usual.
During this webinar, our panel of experts will explore how we can move toward making flexible working the norm in a way that works for parents and carers, employers, and the economy. We will also present new polling on how COVID-19 has impacted parents’ and carers’ expectations about flexible working in a post-COVID world. This webinar is being held as part of Working Families’ #flextheUK campaign.
