How women’s employee networks support women in the workplace – Network Chair event
10th March 2025 | 11am to 12pm
The theme for International Women’s Day 2025 is ‘Accelerate Action’ and during our upcoming Network Chair event, chaired by Working Families Relationship Manager, Donna Patterson, we will explore how women’s employee networks support women in the workplace and make change happen.
Employee network groups are a great tool to help create an inclusive work environment. 88% of participating organisations in the 2024 Working Families Benchmark survey stated they have a Women’s Network. Aside from giving a sense of belonging, employee network groups also give under-represented groups a chance to speak up and they play a huge part in influencing change within organisations.
Women’s networks are a great place to connect women from different departments, levels and backgrounds. It’s worth noting that a women’s network doesn’t necessarily mean that all members should be women. It’s important to have male allies who are passionate about championing equality. During this Network chair event we will focus on the critical work that Women’s Employee Networks do to support women in the workplace.
We’re delighted that we’ll be joined by Sarah Dal Pozzo and Rebecca Candlish the co-chairs of KNOW (KPMG Network of Women) who will be sharing the inspirational support for women within their organisation.
Please note that this is not a listen and learn session and after our panel have shared, we would love to hear from you! So, please de-mute yourself and turn your camera on, to join in this important discussion!
Spaces are limited.
