Unibail Rodamco Westfield – Commended 2020, Best for Fathers

Unibail Rodamco Westfield offers fathers Shared Parental Leave that matches the company’s maternity offer of three months on full pay and three months on half pay. 

Nearly a third (31%) of fathers took Shared Parental Leave in 2019. 

Four weeks fully paid paternity leave is available as an alternative.  

A ‘return to work’ plan prompts discussions about phased returns and flexible working. All flexible working requests, including those by fathers, were approved or an alternative was agreed in 2019 – 76% had their exact request approved.  

Fathers also benefit from a ‘new parents’ workshop, a buddy for longer periods of parental leave and one paid family or personal day each year.
