Public Health England – Finalist 2018, Best Flexible Working Initiative Award
A Flexible Working Champions Network was launched in 2016 to promote a flexible work culture and support employees and managers to make this a reality.
More than 2,000 employees took part in a staff survey on the subject and the Network’s original 15 Champions is now bolstered to over 70.
The organisation monitors flexible working requests. A total of 66 were made in 2016/17, 76 per cent were by women and 24 per cent by men.
