Mum & You – Finalist 2019, Best for Mothers

  • This mother & baby company is as innovative in the ways it looks after its employees as in the products it designs.
  • All employees are parents and flexible-working is one of the key reasons retention is particularly strong. Mums and dads can choose when and where they work. There is an expectation that people are motivated and hard-working so nobody feels the need to ‘excuse’ themselves if their work pattern changes week on week.
  • Enhanced maternity pay and ongoing coaching and mentoring as well as unlimited annual leave comes after one year’s employment.
  • Parents returning to work after a career break are encouraged and supported by workshops and mentoring. Knowledge gaps in social media and digital marketing have been closed to enable future success in this way.
