Deloitte – Commended 2019, Best for Fathers

The professional services firm offers fathers enhanced paternity pay and enhanced shared parental leave (SPL) pay. A total of 143 fathers took SPL in 2018.

Fathers are welcomed on the firm’s career-break returner scheme and flexible working is widely used by fathers – and other staff.

A Time Out policy offering four weeks’ unpaid leave when it suits the employee and business is popular with fathers during school holidays. Emergency childcare is also available.

Fathers taking paternity leave and SPL are invited to join programmes that help parents learn strategies to successfully combine work with parenting responsibilities and develop a support network.
