Deloitte – Commended 2019, Best for Embedded Flexibility

A top-down culture supports flexible working, which is common among employees.

A host of formal and informal options including flexitime and remote working as well as annualised days (which allows term-time working) and job shares are available. While examples of staff – from all levels of the organisation – who work flexibly are regularly showcased.

A toolkit helps team leaders manage employees who work flexibly and the company mentions its openness to flexibility in job adverts.

The result is that employees stay longer – saving £83 million in recruitment and training so far. A further £39 million has also been saved in reduced property costs.
