Allen & Overy – Finalist 2019, Best Returner Programme

  • The programme, called ‘I’m Back’, allows both former lawyers and practice support staff from the firm to complete returnship placements with suitable teams.
  • An initial workshop updates potential returners on changes to the legal landscape, provides confidence building sessions and CV and interview skills.
  • Successful candidates complete a six-month placement that be done on a 4 or 5-day-a-week basis and returners can work flexibly once in post.
Coaching and mentoring support is offered throughout the placement.
