Sample letter on health and safety during pregnancy

Maternity Action have model letter to fill out and give to your employer if you are pregnant and have concerns about your health and safety at work.

It is important to write to your employer to make sure that your rights are respected. You can ask for help completing this letter from our helpline, your union, Citizens Advice Bureau, or from Maternity Action’s advice services.

This advice applies in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. If you live in another part of the UK, the law may differ. Please call our helpline for more details
