My Priorities

What is difficult or what do you anticipate will be difficult? What is most important for you to hold it all together? What are your personal priorities?

See below whether you are really living life according to your priorities:

Number the following in the order you consider them priorities (e.g. if your children are the most important thing in your life, give them no 1, partner no 2, work 3 etc.)

You can enter the numbers directly into the boxes and type any of your own details onto the dotted lines. You can then print out the page by clicking on the print button

Next order them again according to the time you spend on them

Here is a filled in example to guide you.

You may find the results show your life is well balanced and that the amount of time you spend on each area is about equal to its importance to you. However, many will find that they are spending a great deal of time on things which are low on their list of priorities and much less time on those which are high. If the results show a need for change start by just picking off one thing you would like to change and write it below.

I am committed to making my priority

Specifically this means:

1

2

3

How this will benefit me:

I will make (amount of time) Per to do this, starting (date)

The first thing I must do is:

What could get in the way of making this happen?

What can I do to overcome this?

Who can support me to make this happen?

Once you have successfully made a change in one area - move on to the next - always setting yourself very specific measurable goals. There are many self-help life-coaching books which can help you think about how to make changes to your life.
